Hector Sandoval, as Head of LATAM, oversees sales and the strategy surrounding Latin America’s adoption of EVC technology. Hector has over 25 years of experience in sales, operations, and management, with 18 of these years focused on the payment card/smart card industry. Hector is a proven, effective business leader with an entrepreneurial spirit. Passionate about security and technology, he has actively contributed to the digital transformation of the payment security ecosystem. 

Throughout his 20-year career in the smart card industry, Hector has become known as an effective business leader who contributes his entrepreneurial spirit towards the digital transformation of the payment ecosystem and who engages with a broad range of clients, startups, and partners.
Previously, Hector held senior management positions at Idemia, Morpho, Oberthur, and the Margins Group. He has experience in product, strategy, corporate management, B2B sales, regional management, and subsidiary management.
Hector holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering and a diploma in Communications. He is also a graduate of the Executive Program of SAFRAN University (EP4) and HEC/DUKE.
